(B) Cirque du Soleil’s tribute to an American icon is a happy mess. It’s loud and joyful in matching Elvis Presley’s recorded voice to new live-band arrangements. But an all-in-one approach means at different times it’s theme-park hokum, a literal Presley bio with film clips, a Broadway-quality musical and sometimes even familiar Cirque with acrobats.
