Las Vegas Academy Theatre will present "Taming of the Shrew" Nov. 8-10 and Nov. 15-17. Tickets are $15.
Three men love the beautiful Bianca, but her father will not let her marry until her older sister, the cantankerous Katherine, is wed. One problem: Katherine is known as a shrew and no man will take her for a wife. That is, until the irascible Petruchio arrives to "wive it wealthily in Padua." Insults and endearments fly in this classically staged battle of the sexes.
