Formed in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Texas in July came together in 2007 while the bandmembers were still in high school together. Consisting of singer Alex Good, drummer Adam Gray, guitarists Christian Royer and Logan Maurer, and bassist Ben Witkowski, the group debuted its intricate, breakdown-heavy metalcore sound in 2008 with the EP Salt of the Earth, released on CI Records....

After recording "Someday Came Suddenly" and touring some with Attack Attack Austin left the band. After leaving, Austin decided to start something new on his own. He asked one of his best friends Jaxin Hall from New Zealand, to join him and be apart of whatever he did next....
