Springs Preserve Black History Month Festival
The Springs Preserve will host its 4th annual Black History Month Festival, Saturday, February 16, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The festival will feature performances by youth step groups and local jazz, gospel and hip-hop entertainers. In addition, Henderson resident Dr. My Haley, widow of Alex Haley, author of the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel “Roots,” will autograph copies of her novel, “The Treason of Mary Louvestre.”
